Experiential Expertise Train the Trainer (T3)
FSTD's Experiential Expertise T3 gives you the
skills and confidence to facilitate your team's learning using
Experiential projects in the classroom and on the challenge course.
This T3 can be delivered either as a two, three or five day course,
depending upon which Experiential Activities you wish to focus upon
(more below). Every T3 covers the following Core Skills:
- activity selection - Which activity will accomplish my training goals, given the stage of the group and individual members?
- sequencing - What order should I schedule the activities so as to progressively build upon the learning?
- presentation - How do I introduce the activity to create the proper tone and position my group for optimal learning?
- facilitation - How do I lead the activity? What factors should I be attending to while the group does its work?
- debriefing - How will I assist the group to transfer its learning back to the workplace?
Experiential Expertise T3: Openers, Energizers and Initiatives
This two-day workshop will give you the skills to lead openers, energizers and initiatives with confidence. Experience a variety of activities for both large and small groups.
Learn what to do "behind the scenes" to make each activity appear effortless and professional. Bring your own training situations and learn how to apply experiential activities to your industry and audience.
The training includes learning to facilitate initiatives indoors and outdoors; the theory and application of experiential processes; how to respond to different groups, processing the experience, where to get materials, lots of ideas...

Experiential Expertise T3: Trust, Low Ropes, High Ropes and AlpineTower
Learn and practice the facilitator skills needed to lead effective trust building and problem-solving activities on the "Low and High Ropes Course." Equip yourself with tools and techniques to make a difference in the lives of participants and manage the risk of the more technical experiential activities.
This 3-day program will include substantial practice leading trust building and low element problem-solving activities. You will also learn to tie proper knots, belay, set-up safety systems, perform rescues, and how to debrief the participant's experiences on a Ropes Course. You will receive a manual including a directory of the activities with instructions and materials needed.
