Train the Trainer (T3)

First Steps' Train-The-Trainer (T3) workshops prepare you to create dynamic learning environments that teach your personnel the skills needed to drive your business forward in the most cost-effective manner.  We offer three T3 Interventions, which can be scheduled separately or combined to create the optimal trainer development program for your organization.

T3 Interventions

1. Platform Mastery T3: the basic T3 that provides the skills needed to teach any given subject.  Ideal for new trainers and subject matter experts who are transitioning into the training role.  Focused on your curricula and conducted on-site.  (more)

2. Experiential Expertise T3: for trainers who wish to incorporate experiential projects into their training.  Ideal for experienced platform trainers looking to increase participant engagement and creativity, as well as team coaches who are seeking to spark break-through on their teams.  Conducted at our challenge course. 3. Skill-Specific T3: Learn how to effectively teach individual First Steps Leadership and Team Skills workshops in-house.  Each Skill-Specific T3 provides extended topical learning so that you become the organization's expert in that particular skill, and combines it with Platform Mastery skills and all support materials needed for you successfully train others in our Reality-Based Technologies.

T3 Support

We provide multiple layers of support with each T3:

1. Assessment - we conduct interviews to determine the exact learning requirements for the specified target populations;

2. Customization - we refine the T3 curricula and materials to address your organization's learning requirements;

3. Pre-Exposure (for Skill Specific T3 only) - your selected trainers experience the workshop as we deliver it to them;

4. T3 Delivery - depending upon your learning needs and the T3 selected, 2-10 days of in-depth content learning and practice delivery with coaching;

5. Check Outs - we meet with you prior to your first "live" performance to review learning objectives and training strategies; we attend your first training delivery to provide discreet coaching in real-time and in-depth feedback afterwards; and

6. Extended Accessibility - we avail our talents to you via phone and email for six months following the T3 for any needed support relative to the skills covered.
